Depending on where you’re from, there are certain ways to say certain things. Like if you want to say “Good”, you can say “Awesome”, “Fabulous,” or “Amazing,” and they’d all mean the same thing.

Awesome. Fabulous. Amazing.
But if someone says fine, then you’re not really fine.

I studied teaching English in Germany for a tad bit (I'm American) and I did a presentation on American Customs with a group of individuals. One was from Malaysia who had studied in the US. It bothered her so much that when people said "We'll get together soon," they didn't. 😟
