Waiter Receives A Surprise Letter Next Day From Customers Who Tip Him Only $3.28

Waitering is a thankless job.

While I am aware that most people do tip waiters a good amount, some people just don’t do that or are not aware of what they should do. This is exactly what happened when a group of 13-year olds went to a restaurant.

While this group was thanking the waiter profusely, their tip left something to be desired as they only left $3.28.

Nothing more frustrating than when I get little to nothing for a tip and the customer is smiling and thanking me profusely as they exit. His attitude towards the guys changed drastically the following day.

I’ve been serving a long time. Nothing like this has ever happened to me, or anyone [I know].

Waiters should always be rewarded with an appropriate tip.

However, a group of teens was not aware of this as they only left $3.28.

Although they did send a heartwarming letter to the waiter the next day.

Here is what the waiter had to say.

People were quite surprised by the teens quick-thinking.
