Can’t we respect everyone’s choices?
I understand that many people are anti-abortion and don’t want to terminate a ‘life.’ However, most of the times when someone wants an abortion, it might be because either it was not planned or that maybe they were in an abusive relationship.
But this doesn’t seem to matter when it comes to abortion laws. At the end of the day, it should be a woman’s choice to do what she wants with her body. While I do believe terminating a birth after a specific period of time might not be ethical, but hard times call for hard choices.
As evident by the following story, people have started to share their own stories so abortion can be destigmatized through hashtags like #ShoutYourAbortion and #YouKnowMe.
