There’s Now Pink Kit Kats Made From “Ruby” Chocolate And It’s Every Millennial’s Dream Come True This Valentine

Millennial pink is the new black.

Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a tiny bit. Since orange, pink, blue or any other color will never be the new ‘black.’ But you might think it will because ‘millennial pink’ is everywhere these days.

From makeup to clothes, your eyes will be graced with this delicate color. Now you don’t normally associate food with this color. But you will soon enough since Kit Kat has launched a new chocolate named “Kit Kat Chocolatory Sublime Ruby.”

Doesn’t that look delectable?

What is the secret behind it’s ‘sublime’ color you ask? Ruby cocoa beans of course. Now, you may not have heard about it before. But this is officially the fourth type of chocolate other than milk, dark and white chocolate.

There is no artificial color or flavors in this, and yes, I am aware that it looks like Willy Wonka might have made this. The actual person behind this amazing creation is Japanese pâtissier, Yasumasa Takagi.

Sadly, it is only available in Japan right now.

However, it will soon come to the U.S so don’t pick up your pitchforks yet. The sales will officially start on Friday, Jan. 19 in Japan. So you might want to order online by registering on the official Kit Kat website.

The inventor of Ruby Chocolate, Barry Callebaut described the taste of the ruby cocoa bean as ‘not bitter, milky, or sweet, but a combination of fruity and luscious flavors.’ Now, I don’t know about you, but I am extremely excited about this new chocolate.

At the end of the day, a pink chocolate is not a big deal since many chocolates before Kit Kat has used colors and flavoring but this is actually made from a new cocoa bean and I certainly can’t wait to taste this one.

This would certainly make a ‘sublime’ Valentine gift.
