With the advent of social media, it’s a lot easier to keep track of people.
As such, whenever someone does something stupid, it’s handled within minutes. So when people lie or try to get attention, they’re usually set straight in a hilarious manner. I should feel sorry for them, but I don’t because they dug that hole themselves.
