This Artist Used Paper Clips To Illustrate Mental Illness And It’s Pretty Accurate

Mental Illness explained through a very simple innovation.

Artist Eisen Bernardo wants to spread awareness of all the mental illnesses people face these days, so he used paperclips to illustrate that. Now, it may not sound like the best idea, but it worked flawlessly.

Why did he use a paperclip, you ask? Well, his personal opinion is that it merely symbolizes life; the start till the end. As he explains it in his own words.

I even had a paper clip tattoo to remind myself every day that “I should keep things together”. For me, it symbolizes life more because it has a starting point and an end point.

There is also direction of movement that can depict how people live their lives. Can be from outside going in, or being in touch with what is inside and slowly discovering the world outside.
