This Owner Puts Up A Genius Bar Sign To Teach The Rude Customers Some Manners, And It Totally Worked For Him

“The customer is always right”

Everyone enjoys being told that they’re right. Especially if they’re wrong. Those working in customer service always have some horror stories to tell. Except they’re always told to do as the customer says, no matter how crazy they are. With that in mind, they’re often on their best behaviour and providing the best service. Receiving that service is an awesome experience But what about the other side of the counter?

It’s a two-way process. If we are being treated nicely we must respond with the same courtesy.

A Roanoke coffee shop owner in Austin has had enough of his rude customers so he decided to do something interesting about it.

Simms told WDBJ.

“I decided because I need to solve all the injustices of the world to start charging more for people who didn’t take the time to say hello and connect and realize we’re all people behind the counter,”

He put up a sign of a new pricing policy right in front of his coffee shop. And the result was much bigger than he hoped for. This new sign went viral when a bunch of people turned up with their cameras and it even got the attention of the local newspaper.

This new interesting pricing policy worked wonders.
