If you were born somewhere between March 21 – April 19 then you are Loyal, Brave, Confident and a Fearless person, as these all are the key attributes of an Aries. An Aries would fight to the fullest while battling for the person they love. And it is for the same reason the Valkyries match the most with the Aries. They are primarily known for bearing the dead warriors to Valhalla for making them the “deathless lone fighters.”
Now let’s talk about a sign that is more towards being stable and patient. And that would be none other than Taurus(April 20 – May 20). People who are Taurus have the quality of calmly waiting until the time is right. So Taureans match perfectly with Gargoyles. They are like the stone statues that guard old cathedrals; calm and quiet until the time calls. And finally, when they are needed, they would fight relentlessly until they are successful.
So here we have Geminis. The sign most people are confused about. Geminis have the symbol of Twins. People think of them as hypocrites as they mistake their adaptive nature for being double-faced. However the reality is different, Geminis have a flexible, gentle and a self-loving nature which is why they resemble the three-headed dog-like creature called Cerberus. With a serpent-like tail along with claws resembling that of a lion’s, Cerberus can shapeshift when needed.
Cancerians(June 21 – July 22) are best represented as werewolves. Cancerians are determined, loyal and possessive, just like lycanthropes. They don’t easily let people into their lives as they fear that they might end up hurting them. However, when they do, they form a very strong bond with them. Cancerians and Werewolves are both ruled by the periodic patterns of the moon.
For those born between July 23 – August 22 are Leos. They are known for their qualities of bravery and leadership. Also, they have the element of fire which makes them aggressive by nature. All of these characteristics are also found in creatures called Griffins. It is believed that Griffin is a fused form of a Lion and an Eagle(Kings of their respective kinds). This pretty much also explains the behavior and nature of Leo’s.
Virgos. A sign that possesses great intellect and analytical abilities. They have quick decision-making skills and are fast to differentiate between people. Considering all these attributes, the mythical creature Sphinx represents them. Sphinx has all these remarkable qualities. However, there has always been a contradiction between the Greeks and Egyptians about Sphinx. The Greeks considered them as malicious creatures while the Egyptians saw them as kind guardians. This reflects on the way a Virgo can be perceived, an amazing person for those that they love, and a nightmare for those they hate.
Libras(August 23 – September 22), are polite, soft-hearted and diplomatic people. They would rather hide in seclusion than face the wrath of God. And most of all, they hate conflicts. And it is mainly because of this characteristic that they are represented by Gorgons. Gorgons can turn their opponents to stone. That’s exactly what a Libra would do as well rather than killing or fighting their enemy. It is believed that the Greeks used Gorgons as a symbol of protecting and restoring peace and harmony.
Scorpio(October 23 – November 21) is an interesting zodiac indeed. They are full of mysteries, ambition can sometimes be passionate and also very stubborn. Desire is what drives them. Scorpios are the kind of people who would relentlessly fight for what they want and would do anything to achieve it. Their nature and behavior can best be described as that of a Vampire’s. They crave for many things and would settle down only after getting it.
Sagittarius(November 22 – December 21) are pleasure seekers. They want adventure and want to see all that life has to offer. They crave for freedom and enjoyment. The mythical creature Centaur describes them accurately. Centaur, being a creature which is a half-horse and a half-human, is lustful and joyous which makes it the perfect match.
Capricorn(December 22 – January 19) is naturally mercurial. They have so many conflicting thoughts in their mind that sometimes it is hard to conclude on a particular matter. Their temperamental behavior resembles that of a Chimera. Chimera is a creature that has a head of a Lion, Goat, and of a snake. This reflects all the contradictions in a Capricorns mind. However, when they finally learn to put the differences in opinion aside and unanimously act towards a single goal, they become unstoppable.
If you are an Aquarius(January 20 – February 18) then giving care and love and having an incredible foresight are your key qualities. They give utmost respect, love, and care to those close to them. If a person who is loved by an Aquarius is hurt, it affects them severely. Aquariuses are also known for anticipating nearly any situation accurately, much like the mythical creature Banshee(banshees of the Irish folklore).
The last but not the least we have Pisces. People who are Pisces are artistic, instinctive, and overall extremely beautiful people. They possess the ability to attract nearly anyone with their charm. In this regard, Pisces can best be described by the Sirens of the Greek mythology. However, not everyone is capable of fully understanding their beauty, as they can’t hold on to them and look at them in depth. But, for those who can, they would always find themselves in an exciting company.
