Daughter Asked If She Can Remove Her Hijab To Her Muslim Father & He Had The Perfect Reply For Her

We all meet people who just can’t stop pushing us off the edge, but not everyone reacts the same.

A similar incident happened to a 17-year-old high school girl, who happens to be Muslim, named Lamya. She is from Pennsylvania and wears a hijab, following her traditions and religious teachings.

One of Lamya’s friends initiated a group chat, and somebody brought up Trump’s presidency subject to which Lamya replied, “I personally had very strong views considering the presidency did impact me because I am an Arab, Muslim woman,” she told BuzzFeed News.

However, Lamya criticized trump’s strict policies against Muslims and Lamya’s friend got provoked by it and started giving hate speech, as it can be expected by most of Trump’s followers. He said that she “couldn’t take that scarf off or [her] dad would beat” her. Moreover, he called her a bitch too.

I bet the majority of us would have replied with abuses and cursing that guy to the most, but Lamya did something nobody could have imagined. She contacted her dad who resides in Saudia Arabia, and she asked him if she could remove her hijab if she wanted to and her father’s amazing reply got people talking!

“Sweetheart that’s not my decision to make,” he wrote. “That’s no man’s decision to make. If it’s what you feel like you want to do, go ahead. I’ll support you no matter what.”
