The reason behind that might be the sexualization of the female body. In reality, though, a mother is just feeding her child. A mom in Florida however, doesn’t care what others think. She is dressed as a Disney Villain while breastfeeding her son.
Yaky Di Roma is a Venezuelan photographer who took a photo of herself breastfeeding her 3-year-old son Hans, while she was dressed as Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
Di Roma explained that the reason she continues to breastfeed her son is that he has autism and has a hard time transitioning. However, he has found comfort in breastfeeding.
Of course I want to do whatever I can to help him. I just want to be a good mom and in the end, that’s what moms want to do, right? Be good moms to their little ones.

She was told by many people that she resembles a Disney Villain, so she dressed up as Maleficent. These pictures show her love for Disney and her son. She also explained that Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’ and Maleficent from ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ are her favorite characters.
Di Roma took the photos with a tripod and a remote control for the camera. She doesn’t dress in cosplay often, but she does like to dress up for Halloween. She admits that nursing isn’t easy, especially in the first few months but she doesn’t regret her decision.
