Mom Called Gay Bar Asking For Advice After Her Son Came Out And They Delivered It

As it has been said, desperate times calls for desperate measures; this story somewhat depicts the saying.

There was this gay bar (almost a gay bar) which was located in Mississippi. A bartender known as Kara Coley decided to share a hilarious story of a phone call that she received one evening from a Mother of a son, who was really worried about her him being a gay.

 

And this is what happened.

 

“Are you gay?” asked the woman over the phone.

“Yes ma’am,” responded Coley.

“What was the one thing you wanted from your parents when you came out?”

They way Coley handled it was spectacular. Got to admit that she really had her way with the words and came out with a perfect advice anyone could give.

Lady: My son just came out to me and I don’t want to say anything that may mess him up in the head.

Me: Well I think that you should just make sure he knows that you love and accept, wait, do you accept it?

Lady: Well umm yes if that’s what he wants.

Me: You should definitely let him know that you love and accept him! I think everything will be ok from there!

Lady: okay well thank you

We have always heard customers giving a tip but rarely seen a chance where a bartender would give you an amazing tip. Kara, you won our hearts!

 

 

And she generously replied to all the love she got.
