The new album is coming out with the name of “Malibu,” and it is the result of a creative journey in Uber. Miley wrote it in one of her Uber rides while she was heading to a taping of The Voice. The article featuring Miley’s recent interview described Miley’s new album as “an unprecedented dose of twang to a mix that includes quiet acoustic turns and epic pop.”

The article is quite comprehensive in the coverage of Miley’s life, including her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, quitting smoking and her sister Noah.

Miley says that her new album is political and personal, a big part of it is her own creation. The new album includes a song about the former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and women in the workplace. In a conversation about her new album, Miley told the Billboard, “This record is a reflection of the fact that yes, I don’t give a fuck,” she told Billboard, “but right now is not a time to not give a fuck about people.”

Her Dad recorded his comments on Miley’s new release with the Billboard, “This is Miley leaning into her roots more than I’ve ever heard,” which gives me hope for a real country-influenced album.
