It was initially from the Twilight Zone, but because of the Marvel movies, they decided on something else. Upon shutting it down, they changed how to pay homage to the new Guardians Of The Galaxy. If you remember The Collector, you’ll know that he has a fortress that he works out of.
They’ve created a ride based around that exact Fortress.
The official Marvel statement reads:
“The fortress shimmers with colorful and sparkling details; pipes cross and climb the exterior, carrying the organic matter the Tivan Group has mined to power the massive generator that powers the entire building, keeping every cage locked and the valuable collection secure. Rising and falling gantry lifts peek out of doors exposed through the corroded, burnt metal, and it even looks as if the structure may have taken laser fire and blasts. Has someone tried to attack the facility?”
You can cruise through Taneleer Tivan’s exotic collection, including the Guardians themselves! It’s a part of the “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!” attraction and opened on the 27th of May. Just so you avoid spoilers, make sure you watch Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 beforehand.
It’s just a fantastic movie and Peter Quill steals the show. Actually, it was Baby Groot that stole the show, but don’t tell Starlord that.
