Mrs Doubtfire is a 1993 American film based on comedy directed by Chris Columbus, which is based on Madame Doubtfire by Anne Fine. It stars Robin Williams, Sally Field, Pierce Brosnan, Harvey Fierstein and Robert Prosky.

The Movie has a simple and consequently an original plot. As it follows a newly divorced actor, who dresses up in female housekeeper attire to be able to connect with his kids. The film shows the effect of divorce and separation within the family.

His Mother, Laura had a lot to say about the party too 

“I started showing him some of my favorite childhood classics and found that he enjoyed them, so about six months ago, I showed him Mrs. Doubtfire and he loved it.” She continues, “I didn’t think it would be enough to make him want a Mrs Doubtfire–themed party, but apparently he did!”

She soon found out, that there were no Mrs Doubtfire themed decoration, so she had to get a little bit creative. Incidentally, Her cousin who is an artist was there to help her.
