This 5-Year-Old Helps Homeless Cats In Superhero Costumes For A Heartwarming Reason

There is a buzz for superheroes nowadays,

It looks like people are in dire need of them. Apart from the cool superpowers, deep down it is the goodness of the acts we appreciate. So we can say that every soul that dares to do the right thing, to lend a helping hand, is what makes that soul a real superhero.

We would like you to meet the new addition to the superhero collection, “The Cat Man.”

5-year-old Shon Griffin from Philadelphia is here with a purpose, the noble goal of rescuing homeless cats.

Shon’s Aunt Kris and her fiancée were involved in rescuing cats for a long time. They recently took responsibility for the well being of a local group they named the Kolony Kats. Among these homeless cats, a cat called Bug was really hard to deal with.

“Nothing we tried worked,” Aunty Kris said.

However, she noticed that Bug made an instant connection with Shon when he was there to visit his aunt. “The cats took to him right away. Bug came right over to Shon, rubbed against his legs and allowed him to pet him.”

From that day on Shon started helping her aunt to become the real star for these homeless cats.

Whenever he visits his aunt, he dresses up in his favorite superhero costume and fulfills the noble responsibility of helping the Kolony Kats. He feeds and pets them and attends to any problem they might have.

Shon is good with taking care of these homeless cats, and they adore him.

“He’d scratch their bellies and scratch their heads. It was amazing to see these cats who wouldn’t even allow us to touch them but immediately took to him. He must have this magical effect that the cats can pick up,” Aunty Kris told The Dodo.

For all the hungry, homeless cats in the street of Philly, a beacon of hope shines brighter than ever.

He will make all the worries go away in a blink of an eye.

Looks like he got a sidekick.
