Guy Hides Camera In Bucket Of Water To See Who Comes To Drink And The Result Doesn’t Disappoint

You wouldn’t think that a video of just animals drinking would be all that interesting but John Wells from The Field Lab has proved that wrong.

Wells, who works for The Field Lab, a Southwest Texas alternative energy and sustainable living field laboratory, put a camera in a water bucket so he could observe which animals came and went to get a drink. He then put it on YouTube and, to his surprise, the video went viral.

In the video, we see various animals come to quench their thirst, from a donkey and a cow to tiny bees and rabbits. “I was pleasantly surprised during the edit to see that George [the rabbit] made an appearance. I know him from all the other rabbits because of the tiny notch in his ear.” Wells said before also adding that the swimming bees were thankfully rescued before the video could take on a darker edge.

This isn’t John Wells first taste of fame. He is already known in circles of those concerned with the environment for his decision to move from New York to the middle of nowhere to pursue an off-grid lifestyle. He then built a modern house with solar energy and composting for just $1600. What will this man do next? Maybe he can adopt George the rabbit…
