As does Fu Xuawei, a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Chengdu, China. Unfortunately, her grandfather fell seriously ill last year due to which he might not survive to see his beloved granddaughter getting married. It has been his everlasting dream to see his little girl in a wedding dress as Fu has been living with him and her grandmother ever since the divorce of her parents when she was just 10.
That being the case, miss Fu decided on a little something. Well, not exactly “little,” but it sure was something. She arranged for a wedding photoshoot to give her granddad some part of his dream. Yes, that is correct. She wore an enchanting white wedding gown just to dress up as a bride and got the $475 (3000 yuan) photoshoot done for her 87-year-old grandfather.
The most interesting part of this is that there was no groom present. That’s right! A wedding photo shoot without any groom. That’s because she has no immediate plans of getting married in the near future.
Fu’s grandfather fell ill last September, and the doctors gave them no hope of his survival. So she kept this plan confidential and took her grandfather for a regular check-up only to reveal later that they would be taking some photos together. But he had something else coming his way. Something very exceptional.
Miss Xuawei shared her memorable experience online, and it is spreading like wildfire. Take a look.
I had my grandfather’s portrait tattooed on my arm in January because I want my new friends and my children to be able to know what he looks like in the future
