Parkland went through an unimaginable tragedy.

The loss of 17 children who were on their way to school is something that should never have happened. The culprit, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, was arrested. Sources say that the FBI was made aware of Cruz and his potential as a shooter, as he even claimed that he wanted to shoot up his school.

Whenever something like this happens, social media becomes the platform for a discussion on how to prevent it further. Unless the perpetrator happens to be white, because then, people like Tomi Lahren (who would be screaming for border security if Cruz was an illegal immigrant) have this to say.

She was understandably unhappy with Donald Trump as well.

But she had nothing but respect for the police.

She said she was the grandchild of Charles Cohen, a survivor of the 13 people slaughter in 1949 by Howard Barton Unruh.

“His mom told him to hide in the closet while they stayed in the room. My grandpa heard everything and after that he lived with his cousin until he went to military school I believe. He never really talked about what happened and I didn’t find out until after he died. But family was so incredibly important to him because of what happened. He wasn’t as lucky as me.”

About herself, Carly said this.

“I just wanted to stay safe and keep everyone safe. When I got out, I was just hoping to see my mom and hug her because I couldn’t even imagine how scared she was.”
