Ed Sheeran Finally Speaks About Why He Deleted His Twitter After Game Of Thrones Cameo

In case you missed it, Ed Sheeran made a cameo in Game Of Thrones

He played the part of a musically inclined bard, and it was so blatant, that Twitter kept harassing him for it. And so, he deleted his account. Many thought that it was the bullying that had him delete his account, but others thought that he was always intending to because he had insisted in the past that he didn’t want to let social media consume him.

But that didn’t stop Game of Thrones fans from being frustrated by how irregular his cameo was.

We already covered what Twitter thought, but here’s an extra snippet.

Through his manager, Ed Sheeran has finally responded.

And no, he did not delete his twitter because of cyber bullying, he did it because he wanted to.

Last i’ll say on this. I came off Twitter Coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my game of thrones cameo, because I am in game of thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that. It’s clearly fuckin’ awesome. Timing was just a coincidence, but believe what you want. Here is an unrelated picture of me and my wonderful manager riding off into the sunset together
