Usually, when people think of Disney princesses, they think singing and cute animals and romance, pure sweetness and light. I mean, they’re all so perfect, what problems can they face in their happily ever after?
Well, it seems more than you would expect.
In a daring and shocking new photoshoot that borders on the explicit, Shannon Dermody has captured new images of our favourite Disney princesses dealing with some very real issues that face society today such as drug abuse, rape and alcoholism. The images are there to raise these problems in a way that can’t be ignored and they do give you a very real jolt.
