Dad Was Asked To Put Sleeping Daughter To Bed, He Takes It Too Serious & Twitter Is LOLing Hard

This family from Baton Rogue, Louisiana has a beautiful 2-year-old daughter named London. And their life is like a box of crayons.

Ashlie Nicole Williams had quite the laugh when her husband Aaron Code took her bedtime instructions a bit too seriously.

“I couldn’t be mad because he did EXACTLY what I asked,” wrote Ashlie.

So, where did Aaron go wrong?

“Aaron came in the house with London asleep in her car seat and I told him to, ‘just put her in the bed.’ He did exactly that,” Ashlie said on Twitter.

And the post of Ashlie appreciating her husband’s remarkable instruction following ability quickly went viral.

Let’s just say London’s dad, Aaron, has a much different approach towards parenting.

One day, while Ashlie was finishing up with the dishes, Aaron came home with London.

London fell asleep on the car ride home, and Aaron asked Ashlie what he should do.

“He told me she was asleep, so I told him to just put her in the bed and I’d wake her and bathe her later,” Williams told BuzzFeed News.

Without removing her from the car seat, Aaron gently tucked her into bed. Literally following Ashlie’s instructions because moms know best, right?

“I literally walked out of the room to laugh because I didn’t want to wake her up, I turned the light out and left her there,” said Ashlie.

The post quickly went viral, and some of the parents following her footsteps shared their hilarious dad stories.

“I once put a diaper on my daughter AFTER I snapped her onesie together and couldn’t figure out why her mom was crying laughing,” said a Twitter user.

And here’s photographic evidence.

“The dads that commented weren’t surprising at all. It’s like they hold meetings to learn things like this,” jokes Ashlie.

I guess, the male brain probably just functions a little bit differently.

I’m sure London will laugh at her dad too, once she’s old enough to decipher what he did!
