We are aware that no country is perfect and every country’s justice system has its flaws. However, as time goes on, the ‘perception’ of justice has changed. People who should be safeguarding justice against those who wish to harm it tend to skew with it to fulfil their selfish motives instead.
Gunduz Agayev is a painter and illustrator who talks about human rights on a global level and current events. So he came up with the idea of using his art to portray justice in the modern world and how everyone uses to for their own selfish motives.
I have spent 15-16 days for this volume. I drew thinking and reading about the situations in these countries. These illustrations depict the real conditions in the countries.
His illustrations are not vague, and it is pretty clear what he wanted to say in each picture. While some may not agree with his representations, we must be willing to give everyone the freedom of expression.
