All the best things start with innocent tweets.

Everyone videotaping them destroying their coffee machines started with a tweet. A lot of the memes are from Twitter, and the most recent is the discussion of what going on a date in college was like.

Generally speaking, male highschoolers are “boys”, while male collegiates are “men”. And there’s a world of difference between the two. One individual, Tatianna Saunders, was taken aback by this difference.

She went to a nice college, with nice people.

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Tattianna had this to say:

“I had been asked on dates in college, like actual, real dates to dinner, and coffee, and outdoors dates, and I did not at all have that same experience in high school. In high school guys didn’t want to take you anywhere, they just wanted to watch Netflix,”

“Every few months or so people will respond to it and it will be series of responses,”

“There’s a lot of screenshots of guys just being gross to girls so I did find those entertaining, I suppose, but also pathetic. I’m really sorry guys are being so horrible across the US.”

Everyone began replying with their own versions of what college men are like.
