Ever see a ghost from the past?

Chester Bennington recorded a Carpool Karaoke episode a week before his death. He and his band, all full of life and love, drove around singing and dancing in a car. Bennington talked about his children, and it’s impossible to tell that the man was so driven and broken that he took his own life a week after the episode was taped.

Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn accompanied them, and they were joined by actor Ken Joeng. They all sang different hits together, like The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Under The Bridge, Outkast’s Hey Ya, and even LP’s own songs Numb, In The End, and Talking To Myself.

It’s heartbreaking to see, and the fans were emotional when it was aired.

The episode starts with a message.

“With the blessing of Chester’s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester.”

Their faces are all full of joy.

They sung along and you can’t tell what a difficult life he’s leading.

They danced along and it proved only one thing.

Depression and mental illness has no face.

The fans were the most broken up about it.
