Middleton is a gym freak with thousands of Instagram followers. She recently showed her tummy with a message we all need to understand.
She posted her bare tummy pics before and after eating certain foods. These foods were yogurt, protein powders, apples, pears, watermelon, broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus and she calls them her “trigger foods.” We mostly consider these foods as a good source of nutrition, but Middleton’s stomach gets bloated by it. Middleton explained
“Yes I get bloated and it happens when I eat certain foods. I pretty much know which foods are going to do it (high FODMAP) but sometimes I will eat it anyways,” she wrote. “Like earlier I had Greek yogurt and I got bloated within a few minutes but the bloat only lasted for a few hours and now I’m back to normal.”
In all the three pictures that she posted, the difference was huge. But Middleton explains that its all a part of the bodybuilding process. She further tells:
“Since Im doing bodybuilding I go through phases of bulking and cutting. The reason being is I would like to put on more muscle (which is sooo freakn hard for a girl ?) so Im eating more which gives me more calories to grow and energy to kill it in the gym,”
Apart from this, she also explains that eating cleaner can help in getting your stomach flat.
Her tips were for her fans and anyone who feels bloated. She suggests to drink water more often, avoid “trigger food” and working out can get you away from the problem to some extent. But the best suggestion was from a commenter on that post, and it said
“No one has a flat stomach all day long, it’s simply not possible.”
So next time you check yourself out in front of a full-length mirror, do keep the suggestion in mind and accept what your body is like in the first place.
