Ben Affleck Will Be Playing The Role Of Batman In The Batman Trilogy And ‘Batman Beyond’ Adaptation

Ben Affleck is back!

Replacing the all-time favourite Christain Bale, Affleck’s role as Batman in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad got him remarkable success.

However, despite all the fan-following, there was gossip that his role as Batman would end soon. It wasn’t until Warner Bros and Affleck himself stepped in to clear the confusion and shut down the rumours.

In fact, Comicbook.com announced that he would appear in three new movies directed by Matt Reeves!

Furthermore, adding facts and figures, it has been confirmed that Ben Affleck will be making a total of seven Batman movies, including the main role play in Batman Beyond.

According to inside news, there were some differences and issues regarding the signing of the contract. But luckily for the fans, everything has now been sorted out, and Ben Affleck will continue to make Batman films in the near future.

A month back, in an interview with comic con at San Diego, Affleck claimed that he was the “luckiest guy in the world” to be playing the iconic role of Batman.

He said: “Batman is the coolest part in any universe, Marvel, DC, anything… I still can’t believe it. Everyone at the studio tells me I’m their Batman and I believe it.

“And Matt Reeves? I’d be an ape on the ground for Matt Reeves. I’m blown away and it’s an exciting time in the DC Universe. I’m excited to be Batman.”

Before the long discontinued solo Batman films premier once again, Affleck is said to appear first as the Batman in the upcoming Justice League which is due November ’17.

Warner Bros and DC intended to take Batman Beyond to the big screen, but since Batman and Robin’s failure in 1997, the chose The Dark Night trilogy instead. And we’re all glad that they did.

So, are you excited? I know I am!
