It’s sad that this bar had to resort to this hilarious sign to keep customers from harassing the bartender.

Meet Chuck

Chuck is a cashier at Beer Cellar Exeter. And because she’s a female, she’s often harassed by the small fraction of men that hit on literally everything that moves and has a vagina. They might also overlook the fact if she’s not moving either. Anyway, because she works at a bar, there’s a lot of them, most drunk, trying to get lucky.

And she got sick of it.

So she made a sign to ward off any future cretins

And everyone (Except the guys who hit on every single girl they see) loved it. The official Twitter account of the bar posted it with the caption, “This is definitely our favourite sign in the bar. Also, if dudes could stop trying to kiss our female bartender’s hands, that would be great.”

And, of course, there were people that needed to be shut the hell down.

Other people said it was the part and parcel when getting tips. They got the appropriate response

The “Well, they started it” line

But there are certain legitimate exceptions.

People came out of the woodwork to demand a sign like this for their own workplaces.

What about you? Have you ever had to deal with overly affectionate and obnoxiously touchy people before? Are you going to take a page from Chuck’s book and hold up a sign like this too? Share it with your friends and family, and let them have a laugh at the assholes’ expense!
