Maybe not conventionally. But I think I know of a talented Filipino artist that will change your mind. They do incredible transformations to the simple figurines of famous Hollywood actors and characters, turning them realistic and absolutely gorgeous.
Noel Cruz has put up some really insane life-like art on many these simple dolls. Cruz’s repaint is a meticulously detailed, and are sold as wildly popular collectors’ items.
