Artist Accurately Illustrates The Concept Of Consent And Rape

Rape is a serious crime.

While we, as a community, have moved forward quite a lot on this subject, there are still so many people who blame women for getting raped even though it is not their fault. An example of this can be when Zerlina Maxwell made the following statement, and many people were not happy about it.

I don’t think that we should be telling women anything. I think we should be telling men not to rape women and start the conversation there with prevention.

To put it simply, we shouldn’t be teaching women how not to get raped; instead, we should be telling men not to rape them. Now, this is not to say every man is a rapist or no woman is a rapist. Quite the contrary, we should be teaching people not to accept this horrific culture.

Many people have been accepting this movement in recent years, and some take a very creative approach to the subject of consent as shown below.

This is an excellent way of showing all that’s wrong with our society.

Actually, I’ve done this myself.

That is all there is to it. These seven simple comic strips show us how simple and logical the idea of consent really is. What are your thoughts on this matter? Do you think the artist explained consent correctly?
