Girl Suffering From Alopecia Doesn’t Let It Ruin Her Fun On Crazy Hair Day

When 7-year-old Gianessa Wride from Utah got diagnosed with alopecia this year, she decided she would not let this disease make her feel any less beautiful. Alopecia is a hair loss disease that is caused by the immune system attacking hair follicles. There is no permanent cure for it, and it mostly affects people under the age of twenty.

When Gianessa’s school held a “Crazy Hair Day”, she didn’t feel left out at all, and decided to dazzle everyone instead! Her mother, Daniella, wrote on her Instagram, “There is no cure or medication she can take. They can do pill steroids, but once she stops taking them, the hair falls out again.”

So, Daniella decided to make her daughter feel extra special by putting dazzling stickers on Gianessa’s head.

“It’s crazy “head” day today! I must say she looks absolutely stunning!” said Daniella.

I think we can all agree on that!

She’s such a lovely little girl, just look at her adorable smile!

This is the kind of positivity the world needs.

Just because you look different, doesn’t mean you can’t still be as beautiful as a princess.

Instead of letting the disease make her feel bad, she embraced the fact that she is unique and beautiful in her own way. A true inspiration, indeed. Keep smiling; you’re gorgeous.
